Bond Strength and Fracture Toughness of Alkali Activated Self-Compacting Concrete Incorporating Metakaolin or Nanosilica

This study aims to evaluate the effect of nanosilica (NS) and metakaolin (MK) as binder replacement materials on fresh hardened characteristics slag (GGBS)-based alkali-activated self-compacting concretes (A-ASCC). Therefore, nine A-ASCC mixes, with without metakaolin, were prepared, well mixes NS incorporation. In production GGBS was used a material. The properties determined using L-box, V-funnel, T50 value, slump flow tests, while examined compressive strength, bonding strength (pullout test), fracture toughness, flexural tensile tests. A relationship analysis also conducted experimental data. results showed that MK had negative GGBS-based mixtures, whereas greater influence. addition 1% 2% NS, other hand, improved mechanical performance specimens significantly. use more than harmful A-ASCC. 5% ratio at ratios
